Chenine & Joseph had their first look at the posh Beverly Hills GreyStone mansion. They married and celebrated at The Sheraton Universal hotel in Hollywood, California on August 14th, 2010. I had a wonderful time at this wedding with two wonderful people with amazing friends and families. Joseph and Chenine were friends at first, but a trip to Thailand and some smooth words from Joseph, and he got out of the infamous “Friend Zone” that so many guys fall victum to Their wedding was just as fabulous as their love story with the Hollywood ending, literally. The beautiful Starview room at the Sheraton was absolutely amazing. It was fun working with Joy from Joy Marie Photography, and hopefully we can work together in the future. Lights, camera, ACTION!!! I’m not the romantic comedy type when is comes to films, but I have to give Chenine & Joseph 5 stars.
I had a blast filming Lindsay’s wedding, it was a lot fun. Even though I love working with other vendors, it’s great when the entire TSL team is there. After viewing several other high-end cinematographers in Las Vegas, this destination wedding couple stumbled acroos our blog, and she was sold. Looking for cinema first, she found out we offered photography as well, and she was double sold… It was great working my magic, while they worked theirs. When I get backed up in editing, sometimes, its couples like Lindsay and Richard that reminds me why I love what i do You guys rock!!!

You both made everything really easy when it came to the cinematography and photography for our wedding (even with everything you have going on...you deserve a medal!) How great it was to find two very important vendors for our wedding day in one place! It was so comforting not having to worry about the cinematographer and photographer working well together. We really appreciate all of your dedication and hard work on our special day. We were so excited to see this, super pleased with how it turned out and we cannot wait to share it with our family and friends! Thanks Again!!!
Another fabulous wedding at The Las Vegas Paiute, with the nicest couple ever. I get complimented a lot about smiling too much, some people make it sound like its a bad thing. However I have noticed that a lot of brides, recently, have just been a walking smiley face. Most of my brides have been very happy, since I started 4 years ago, but this year has been a happy fest. Maria and Michael also booked my wife, Suzi, from TSL Photography to photograph their wedding, but due to complications with our pregnancy, she has been on strict bed rest for the last 7 weeks. While most of our brides were understanding and giving us well wishes, there were a few that were not so understanding, but accepted it. Maria and Michael come by our studio with flowers for Suzi, and then suggested that I stay at home with her, instead of filming their wedding. How many people do you know, that would be so unselfish during such a momentous time in their lives. Obviously, I shot down their suggestion and captured their special day “Lighten Style”. Then on her wedding day, Maria actually showed up with gifts for all of her vendors, this couple is amazing, and I am truly honored they chose Lighten Films for their cinematography. Enchanted Florist did the wonderful floral decor…
After their original videographer had passport issues, and could not leave the Philippines. Cristalyne was looking for the best filmmaker that matched the style she wanted, she came across our website, and the rest is history. I had a blast at their wedding, Walter and Cristalyne are two of the most gracious people you would ever meet. Their is no match for their love towards one another, including years of long distance, Walter living in Canada, while Cristalyne lives in Las Vegas. They married at St. Viotar Church, and celebrated at Black Mountain Golf Club. It was fun working along side Kristen Joy, whom captured the stills of the day. It was a pleasure putting this trailer together, thank you for having Lighten Films as a part of your big day…
I had a blast filming Adam and Dana’s wedding. They were such a wonderful couple to film, and to bond with. Adam and I share the same passion for very cinematic features, and he liked my style. They got married at the always beautiful DragonRidge Country Club, and danced the night away with a live band. It was a pleasure working with Studio ATG for the first time, as they captured Adam and Dana’s stills. Once again a wonderful couple at a beautiful location, and elegant decor, equals a classic trailer. I love my job…

Glenda and Ed are already a happily married couple, that married at the courthouse last year. They decided that they wanted a bigger wedding, and to celebrate with their family and friends. So they celebrated their union at Angel Park Golf, and it was a wonderful occasion. I had a blast filming their wedding, after they had some miscommunications with their wedding coordinator, whom I met them through, they had to scramble everything together last minute. I would say they faired pretty well, here’s a sneak peak at their feature film…

Jasmine and Jacob are two wonderful people, with caring hearts, and personalities that blossom together. They Married at the vintage Grove, and it was a blast. They are both in the military, and Jasmine had just returned home, last month. I am honored that they selected Lighten Films to film their most important day to date. I was also honored to be in the presence of so many brave Americans, as they have had many family members who served in the military as well. I love capturing the special moments for special people – enjoy the trailer guys.

What a wonderful couple, I had a blast filming Myisha and Richard’s special day at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel with Lauren Daul. Even through some technical problems with the D. J. Myisha and Richard shined, as they should on their wedding day. Even in a long distance relationship, Myisha and Richard have been together for years. With love as strong as they have for one another, it was a pleasure just to witness it. Now here is an oppurtunity for many others to witness the marriage of Myisha and Richard – enjoy….
How deep is Angie and Steve’s love? I believe as deep as love can go and beyond, from what I witnessed. This sweet couple shares a love for one another that would amaze the happiest married couples. It just so happened, that Angie was on match.com for a friend, and came across Steve’s profile. She liked what she saw and joined match.com just to meet him, and sure enough they met up. Here they are 7 years later getting married in front of their wonderful friends and families at St. Francis of Assisi. Its funny how in a variety of ways, God leads you to your soul mate. They celebrated their union at the Dragon Ridge Country Club with the ballroom decked out with floral courtesy of Michelle from Flora Couture and lighting by All Events D.J. Juliet, Angelica, and the rest of the Green Orchid Events staff were incredible as usual with planning, coordinating, and putting together the entire wedding. I also got to work with J and J Photography for the first time, and they were awesome. Congratulations Angie and Steve, from the Lighten Films family to yours, enjoy your trailer…

It captures all of the "moments" from the day and the true love and happiness that I felt all day long. Watching it makes me feel like we are right back there again and to hear our first dance song, it just makes my heart and soul smile and dance.
